I am including an email that previously went out as a means to ensure that everybody had any pertinent information specific to athletics and the start of conditioning and official practices.
Please note that since this notification went out, the stay at home order has been indefinitely extended. During the stay at home order conditioning is permitted but official practices are not. The earliest we hope to begin official practices for season 1 sports would be February 1st. If the stay at home order goes beyond 2/1, then the start of season 1 official practice will be delayed.
We are opening up conditioning for all sports, season 1 and 2, beginning on 1/25. If your team/program will be participating in conditioning, then your coach will reach out to you with more information. Please note that conditioning is not mandatory. This is left to the discretion and availability of your coach.

Season 1 sports (cross country, girls golf, girls tennis, boys & girls swimming) are scheduled to start on Tuesday, January 19th. All students must be cleared to participate in any athletics activities. Please visit the link below (sportsnet) to register and begin the process of getting cleared for participation.
Any student interested in participating in any of the sports listed should fill out the required sign up form A.S.A.P. Once you do, your coach will contact you with details of practice times, locations, and any other pertinent information.
As part of the new state guidelines, no students are to participate in multiple cohorts. Each team is considered a cohort. This means that students will not be allowed to participate on multiple cohorts (teams), on and/or off campus, at the same time. This is a change. The same rules apply for club and H.S. athletics.
We encourage you to begin training on your own, in a safe and appropriate manner (no gathering, masks, social distancing, no shared equipment), in preparation for the start of practices on the 19th and competitions that could start as early as the week of January 25th. I’ve also included a link to Coach E.’s conditioning videos which are a great way to get in shape in a safe manner, at home, and with no equipment.
In the event that we are in a stay at home order, practices will no longer be permitted but conditioning (only) will be allowed. Your respective coach will follow up with details if this is the case heading in to the week of the 19th.
Please be mindful that this is a very fluid situation and dates and time may be subject to change. Your cooperation and flexibility are greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for more information regarding all other sports not listed and the potential start of season 2, tentatively, scheduled for March 15th.
